A small but enthusiastic classroom of third graders from Seattle Jewish Community School visited the Market today. It was sunny and cold outside, but adventures were around every corner, inside and out. One group started off their tour watching Brad make fresh mozzarella upstairs at DiLaurentis:
While examining crafts along the North Arcade, they just HAD to stop and find their names in the specially beaded name bracelets:
Across the street at Beechers, they got the low down on many different kids of cheeses, as well as some delicious samples:
As the visit was coming to a close, the group stopped by the Perennial Tea Room, where they learned all about tea (where it comes from, how it is harvested, etc). They got to sample a special tea brewed just for them! Parent chaperons often enjoy this stop as well, where they get to talk tea with a real tea expert (Sue, below left):
