An eager group of second graders from Hawthorne Elementary School visited the Market today, with the sun blazing away, and just a handful of days left in the school year. One group learned some very interesting and amazing things about truffles at La Buona Tavola:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Just a few doors down they tried some basil-infused olive oil at Sotto Voce, and thought it tasted pretty good:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A short time later they visited Beechers and tried some tasty goat cheese with marionberries – yum:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As their tour of the Market wound down, they went “down under” to the Market Magic & Novelty Shop, where Bill amazed them with some magic:
