A group of 2nd grade visitors from Villa Academy came to visit us today! Here are some highlights of our Pike Place Market fun!
What’s a visit without saying hi to Rachel the Piggy Bank? Here we are learning more about Rachel and checked out the real Rachel the pig’s hoof print! Do you like our many color shoes?
At Pike Place Market, there are many fun and talented buskers! We have lots of favorites…like Chris and Phineas! They are such a talented pair!
We also walked over to Beecher’s Cheese to check out all of their cheese curd-making fun! They also had a little fun with us by spraying some water at the window!
Our visitors had lots of questions, especially for the Pike Place Fish Guys! We got to learn a lot about what it takes to be a fishmonger from Scott. He tells us that it’s a lot of work, but one of the most fun jobs to have.
Last but not least, what’s a Pike Place Market tour without samples? One of the most exciting samples was older than our 7 year-old visitors! They got to expand their with palates truffles and aged balsamic vinegar. Here’s David of La Buona Tavola introducing Campari Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, aged 15 years!
Hope you enjoyed some of our highlights! Ciao!
