Another classroom of third graders from View Ridge Elementary School had a great time at the Market today, despite some really cool and wet weather. One small group started off in the relative warmth of the North Arcade, and enjoyed a sample at Woodring Orchards:

It was just a little farther out to the MarketFront area, where they had an unavoidable and fun photo-op with Billie the Piggybank: 

They walked a little farther out in the rain and took maybe their last look at the Alaskan Way Viaduct, slated for demolition in 2019:

As lunchtime approached, so did a special treat offered by Ellenos Real Greek yogurt!

But the highlight of the group’s tour had to be their visit to Market Security, where they had an up close view and explanation of how hard people there work to keep the Market safe and secure, 24/7.
