Brrr, it’s been cold! A St. John School second grade classroom was met at the center of the Market today by this special greeter:
As a result of the chilly weather, one group spent quite a bit of time in some of the warmer parts of the Market. One stop was indi chocolate, where Kenna told them all about how chocolate is made, and offered a sample of some fresh chocolate from Ecuador:
They did venture outside for a while though, and enjoyed the sights (and smells) at Piroshky, Piroshky:
Back inside, in the Down Under part of the Market, they were in for a real treat, as Steve took them on a special tour of Golden Age Collectables. A couple of highlights included learning about Japanese Manga…
… and finally, learning what to do in case of an attack by Godzilla. They gave it their best, and, after quite a bit of very noisy practicing, Steve declared them prepared, and probably safe, should the occasion arise:
