Today a very sharp classroom of first and second graders from Green Lake Elementary School had a great experience at the Market, on the warmest (so far) day of the year! We split up into groups, and one started out at Pike Place Fish, where they checked out the famous monk fish:
A short time later they were watching the cheese makers at Beechers working hard (they loved the cheese curd samples – yum):
Several stops later, this lucky group headed over to Bottega Italiana, where Emily explained the differences between ice cream and gellato, and offered everyone some very tasty samples:
