An excited classroom of second graders from Catharine Blaine K-8 School learned about the Market today, decked out in its exciting pre-holiday spirit. One group headed over to Beechers, to watch the beginning of the cheese making process:
Just down the street, they had a great time watching the bakers at Piroshky, Piroshky making some tasty looking (and smelling!) treats:
Later on, the group managed to squeeze in a trip to the Magic Shop in the Market, where owner Sheila amazed them with the classic cups and balls trick:
The tour ended as they learned that all is not what it first appears. Scott, from Reflecting on Seattle, showed them some of his amazing photographs:
