A great class of third graders from Wedgwood Elementary School had some interesting times at the Pike Place Market today. After the introduction in the Market Classroom, one group didn’t even get to head down to the Market before they were mesmerized watching Chris and Phinneas, two floors down, in the Atrium:
Their second stop wasn’t that much farther away in the Market, but they still found themselves almost unable to pull away from the doughnut machine at Daily Dozen Doughnuts:
Thankfully, they finally got under way. The monk fish at Pike Place Fish fooled some, but not others. Still, there was an uneasy feeling hanging around there…
Way at the other end of the Market, Glenn, at indi chocolate, taught them about making chocolate from all over the world – with a sample of specially scented chocolate hand lotion – really!
