A second grade class from Adams Elementary School had a wonderful time learning about the Market today. They started out in the Market Classroom, where they were treated to a “special” tasty treat before splitting up into smaller groups.

One group had an up close and personal experience at Pure Food Fish Market, where they had a chance to touch an actopus – eeew!

After looking over the vegetables growing (yes, even in February) in the Pike Place Urban Garden,  they got to sign the special garden pig…

…and then of course just had to pose for a picture in the garden’s one of a kind Pig-Butt chair:
