The fourth (and final!) third grade classroom from View Ridge Elementary School learned and explored at the Market today. You can see two of the earlier tours during March here and here.

Part of their assignment was an A-Z food scavenger hunt, and one group was stuck finding a food starting with K – that is, until Don, from Don and Joe’s Meats, helped them out by dangling this in front of them:

After a trip to the Pike Place Urban Garden,  they got to sign the special garden pig…

One more trip to a Market Pig – this time to Billie the Piggybank, in the MarketFront area:

Closing out a wonderful tour, this group had the good fortune to walk right by an amazing busker:
