Dec 14, 2017 Woodmoor Elementary

The last school tour of 2017 went to a great classroom of third and fourth graders from Woodmore Elementary. Scott, director of the Education Program at the Market, met them at Rachel the Pig.

After a brief trip to the Market Classroom, they set off to learn and explore, in small groups. In an early stop atĀ La Buona Tavola, they learned about truffles, and even had a chance to try some truffle salt – on the back of a hand – yum!

The Market buskers were out in force for the holiday season, and the group was thoroughly entertained by this one man show of music and dance:

Just a couple of day stalls away, they learned some amazing information about jewelry making from Kristeena, at Sabando Design:

The classroom wrapped up their tour by taking in a panoramic view of the Market from the historicĀ Goodwin Library.
