Two classrooms of second graders from Seattle Country Day School spent a beautiful spring morning at the Market and had a fantastic time. Early on in their visit, one group visited The Great Wind-Up, where they got to try out a few of the amazing toys:
Shortly after that, the group was walking through the upper level of DiLaurentis and was invited over by Brad, who demonstrated and explained the process of making fresh mozzarella cheese:
While exploring the North Arcade, they came across Mount St. Helens Sculpture, where Kathy took some time to explain the unique origins of her work:
Towards the end of the tour, this group had a unique opportunity to experience one of the best views of the Market, from the Inn at the Market. Not only was it a beautiful day, with sweeeping views of the waterfront, Elliot Bay, and the Olympic Mountains, today was also the first day of the cruise ships coming to Seattle for the season:
