A wonderful second grade classroom from Gatewood Elementary School had some holiday fun at the Market today, and had a great time, in spite of the cold and the rain – December in Seattle! One group had an exciting taste sample experience at Pappardelle’s Pasta, where they got to try not only chocolate linguine, but also pizza pasta! The hands down favorite – pizza pasta:

A sample of a different kind awaited them at Indi Chocolate, where Becca explained the story of where chocolate comes from, and then offered them some chocolate lotion – really!

Even though it’s not as gross as it once was, the Gum Wall is still a really fun place to visit – and this group contributed to the next layer of gum:

In search of a sensory cleansing experience, they got way more than they needed with a delicious sample from Ellenos Greek Yogurt:

Finally, they just had to take in a view of the Market’s version of Santa’s Reindeer – Santa’s Reinpigs! (note Rudi out front):
