An excited classroom of second graders from The Meridian School had a wonderful visit to the Market today. One group’s tour started and ended with Market Pigs – the first stop was for a photo-op at the Pig-Butt chair in the Pike Place Urban Garden:

A taste delight was in store for them at Woodring Orchards, where they got to sample some amazing jams and jellies:

Probably the most memorable sample they tasted was four year old aged cheddar, a special treat (complete with a math lesson) from Brian, at Beecher’s Handmade Cheese:

They ended up their tour with another photo-op at the Market’s second most famous pig – Billie – Rachel’s cousin, and a part of the new MarketFront:
