Today a wonderful classroom of third graders from Lawton Elementary School explored and learned amazing things about the Market. One group took a look at the new construction zone for the Market expansion:
After they crossed the street, they sampled some amazing flavored olive oils and vinegars at Sotto Voce:
It was a pretty cold and wet day, so they headed Down Under, for some more interesting experiences. They were absolutely amazed by the torn and repaired card/flaming dime turned into a penny trick performed by Jonathan at the Magic Shop in the Market – whoa!
Of course, no trip to the Market would be complete without a visit to the world famous (and a little bit less germy lately) Gum Wall. Here they pretended (really) to add a piece to the wall:
The group’s last stop was at Indi Chocolate, where Becca showed them where chocolate comes from, and then offered them some chocolate lotion. Mint or orange – their hands had never smelled so good!
