Today a fantastic classroom of 3/4 graders from John Rogers Elementary toured the Market. One group got an up close and personal look at the meat business from Ellery, of Don and Joe’s Meats – here showing them a couple of tongues – really!
Moving up the North Arcade, they got to sample tasty jams at Woodring Orchards, yum:
Part of their tour was an A-Z food scavenger hunt, where it’s very challenging to find a food that begins with Q. Well, thank goodness for the quail eggs at the Pike Place Market Creamery (Facebook):
Finishing up their tour by adding a piece of gum to the Gum Wall was pretty fun – and sticky!
