Feb 21, 2019 The Meridian School

Two classrooms of second graders from The Meridian School had a great time exploring and learning more about the Market today. The first stop for one group was the Pike Place Urban Garden, where the views of Elliot Bay were simply stunning:

While there they took a minute to autograph the pig:

Speaking of pigs, they all donated to Billie the Piggybank at exactly the same moment:

Just a short distance away, they got an up close and personal look at the beginning of the demolition of the Alaskan Way Viaduct:

Later on, a couple of students spent some time reviewing their progress on their three part assignment:

A treat right before lunch was some really tasty yogurt from Ellenos Real Greek yogurt  – yum!
